S-MATRIX develops, builds and supports application specific instrumentation systems for our clients using the following components in addition to the Multi-user Computer Systems components listed below:

Multi-User Computer Systems (more detailed information)

S-MATRIX is an established computer systems integration and support company. We develop, build and support application specific multi-user, multi-platform, multi-location computer systems and software for our clients. The components of a typical client / project are:

• System requirements analysis and design

• Hardware and software selection and procurement

• Financing

• Hardware and software installation, configuration and testing

• Software engineering, customization and development

• Training including business, system and software processes and procedures

• Ongoing system management and support

• Maintenance

Efficient Energy Use Systems (more detailed information)

S-MATRIX has historically worked on applications in all sectors of energy use - residential, commercial, industrial and transportation. Our strategy in all cases is first to identify and catalogue current usage. Then, using current usage as a baseline, more efficient energy use options are proposed to our clients who help us select those options needing further evaluation. The feasibility studies of each selected option include design and life cycle cost benefit analyses. The results of the feasibility studies are the foundation for an implementation strategy. The following is a partial list of the types of efficient energy use systems projects that we have worked on:

• Computer aided design, analysis and simulation

• Energy audits and conservation

• Energy policy

• Energy storage for mobile and stationary applications (batteries, flywheels, fuel cells, hydrogen, thermal)
